Day 9 & 10 Flagstaff to Mesa

Our first stop was Macys for an amazing breakfast, yum!

We planned on stopping in Sedona, but I was busy blogging and didn't tell Kira we needed to get off the highway. Oops! It's a good thing we were there a year and a half ago. So on to Mesa it was.
We spent two days here with my mom and all my siblings. Mom turned 90 in March and we weren't all able to be there so we made it happen now instead. We went out to eat and just hung out visiting.
On the 9th we went to Joe's Farm Grill for lunch and they gave Kira a free lunch for her birthday! Then that night we went to the San Tan Brewery with the cousins to celebrate her birthday.
Kira and I went early since they don't take reservations to put our name on the lists. Surprise! We had a birthday tasting while we waited.

Cheers!
It was great for Kira to have a chance to catch up with her cousins.

We gave her a book about trucks. :)

Then back to the house for dessert. Rod made a peach pie but it wasn't finished until late so we took a couple pieces of that with us the next day.

Mom was so happy to have us all home.

Kira is being teased for having a curse on air conditioners. Just before she arrived at Natalie's house their AC we out and had to be replaced. Just before we got to Gerry's his went out and had to be replaced as well! So if we're heading your way....watch out! Rod did point out she didn't break his...he doesn't have one.
